The wheel was manufactured by BBS and sanctioned by BMW's racing program for the M235iR/M240i. The BBS RE1598 wheels are designed for optimal performance, offering a lightweight yet durable construction. Each wheel measures 18x10J with an ET24 offset and a 5x120 bolt pattern, weighing just 22.8lbs - ideal for those looking to reduce unsprung weight without sacrificing strength.
This wheel is produced using BBS' semi-cast flow forming manufacturing technology. This produces a light weight wheel that is stronger than traditional cast wheels but not has stout as a truly forged wheel.
They are great track wheels for E46 M3, E9X M3, F8X M3/M4*, E82 1M, and Z4M.
* Fitment for 2015+ F8X M3/M4: the 18x10" ET25 wheel is a great fit on the front of F8X but aggressive on the rear. The rear tire is more likely to contact the fender, even with additional camber, alignment, and ride height adjustments. Although this is a common size and offset in the industry we prefer the 18x10" ET33 with a spacer in the front. With the +33 offset we get a better fit in the rear and no issues in the front with the spacers.
